Export workflow: preview to final image

A practical Sequence Pro workflow for importing videos, refining frames, composing layers, and exporting consistent contact sheets.

Updated Apr 3, 2026

This is the main production loop in Sequence Pro.

What it is

A workflow where you add videos, tune and compose against a selected item, then export the current selection with stable global composition settings.

Why it matters

  • You can process multiple videos without rebuilding settings each time.
  • Export behavior stays predictable because output settings are explicit.
  • The same canvas-based renderer is used for final export output.

How it works in Sequence Pro

  1. Add videos to the queue.
  2. Select a video and set extraction, arrangement, and timestamp options.
  3. Tune key moments in frame tuning.
  4. Compose text elements and watermarks.
  5. Export the current selection.

Notes for reliable runs

  • Set a default output folder to reduce prompts during repeated exports.
  • Use filename templates with {n} when you want explicit sequence indexing.
  • If results are too dense, reduce frame count or increase spacing before exporting.
